2001
was an exceptional year in Marlborough. Ideal spring weather was followed
by a warm and extremely dry summer which produced probably the best vintage
yet seen in Marlborough. This great weather allowed us to pick the precise
day of ripening with no compromise, producing an absolutely stunning wine
with intense tropical fruit flavours combined with silken mouth feel and
great length. |
